WHAT IS FIBRO-POROSITY ?
An excessive fragileness specific to mature hair, which can be explained by three characteristics:
1 . HAIR IS STRUCTURALLY WEAKENED
The intercellular cement in mature hair may be impaired.
2 . HAIR IS MORE SENSITIVE TO RADIATION
The whitening of hair over time is due to a gradual reduction in melanin, the colour pigment of the hair. Melanin traditionally performs a protective role and absorbs some of the sun's UV radiation.
White hair is therefore more sensitive when exposed to the sun. Exposure to UV rays causes the hair to become more fragile.
3 . ATTENTION TO THE SURFACE CONDITION OF THE HAIR
Attention to the surface condition of the hair
The effects of the multiple exterior aggressions can lead to the erosion of the cuticle scales on the surface hair fibre.
The hair can become damaged, more fragile and look dull.
