Keep your frizz at bay even in April showers
One minute the sun is shining, the next it’s pouring rain. Sound familiar? Although spring has its perks – daffodils! – those April showers can spell trouble for your hair. With humidity on the up and warmer temperatures, your blow-dry can go from super sleek to frizzy hair in the time it takes to open your umbrella.
Stop frizzy hair in its tracks
Specially designed for frizzy and unruly curly hair, our Discipline collection has everything you need to keep your locks frizz-free and smooth. Always start your routine with the Bain Fluidéaliste to gently wash away impurities. Its formula is enriched with amino acids and wheat protein to nourish the hair strand, leaving it feeling light and soft. Next, follow up with a dose of Fondant Fluidéaliste for some deep conditioning and more importantly, some serious frizz and humidity control action! Those with dry or sensitised hairmight want to opt for our Maskératine for even more hydration.
Styling to reduce the frizz
While your first instinct might be to get the straighteners out, the overuse of heat tools can dryour locks out which only leads to more frizz. However, there are ways around this! Protect your strands with our Keratine Thermique leave-in blow dry perfector. Its instant resurfacing action transforms the look and feel of the hair fibre making it look shinier and smoother. If you prefer a lighter texture, look no further that the Fluidissime Spray. It protects your locks during styling providing a healthy-looking shine without a frizzy strand in sight.
Top tip from Paul Edmonds:
For the best blowdry this spring, use a good bristle brush to smooth out frizz. I recommend using a mix bristle or non nylon to avoid static. Ceramic brushes are good for those with thicker, stronger and hard to manage hair as they help to dry the hair quickly, but be careful if your hair is fine or delicate as they can cause the hair to break.
Bring on those spring showers!
