Nourish and strengthen your grey or blonde hair with Blond Absolu Masque Ultra-Violet by Kérastase, a purple hair mask. Containing special Ultra Violet Neutralisers, it works to neutralise brassy and yellow undertones, for a cool, bright blonde or silver color.

Think of it as skincare for your hair.
With its rich, ultraviolet cream texture, this Hyaluronic Acid hair mask deeply reconstructs hair. It also contains Edelweiss Flowers Extract, and the two ingredients act together to nourish and restore the fiber of grey, white, silver or bleached hair.

STEP 1
Apply to shampooed and towel-dried hair.

STEP 2
Massage through lengths and ends. Leave on for 3-5 minutes, or longer depending on desired degree of neutralisation.

STEP 3
Rinse thoroughly. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately and thoroughly.

How to maintain blonde hair?


Kérastase discovered the 2 golden rules of bleached hair.

First, bleached hair needs to be hydrated, and that means depositing a layer of moisturising and nourishing actives on top of the fiber cuticle to avoid surface damage.

Second, bleached hair needs fiber healing, protection and neutralisation, to strengthen the fiber, prevent future breakage and neutralise unwanted brassiness.

I was so unhappy with my yellow brassy blonde and ready to go dark again when she suggested a treatment mask once a fortnite (I only wash my hair twice a week). I left it on for 8 minutes and my hair is gorgeously soft and glossy and a perfect shade of cool light blonde again! No need to change my colour now I've found this!

I used to have quite brassy ends but now they are looking much cooler and glossier. I tend to leave it on for about 15 mins, instead of 10 as it makes quite a big difference. Would definitely recommend.

Didn’t feel as luxurious while I was applying and the texture was so thick I seemed to use quiet a bit . Not as conditioning as Expected . The couloir of my highlighted hair seem to brighten up though . However I was slightly disappointed so I will revert back to my normal ranges !

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extreme colour warning!!! As with all hair masks, I left this on longer than the guide on box, it totally changed my hair colour from blonde to grey and a lilac. I understand I dint follow instruction but the result was so severe there should be a warning that the primary function is colouring your hair not conditioning it. My hairdresser had to put 2 colour correctors on my hair and still remnants of lilac remain.

BUT do use disposable gloves as required despite the video declaring "use disposable gloves when applying" and also states that on the box ,the girl in the video is using bare hands !!. I forgot to use the gloves on one occasion and my hands and arms became very itchy and I had a rash . So be careful if you have sensitive skin . the first time I tried it I left it on for longer than 10mins -more like 15 and I had to wash and wash it out over and over again to remove the product as my hair was looking grey ! I now do 8-10 mins only and its fine . I am pleased with this product .

Two people asked if I'd been at the hairdressers or if I'd used a toner after using the masque. I would have liked it to have left my hair a wee bit softer afterwards but overall, I'm really pleased with the result.
