The smell is totally overpowering and totally unnecessary; not nice for oneself or a partner to suffer the stink of the fake smell. Also, the product is too viscous, such that it sticks too much to hair, so less gets to the scalp where it is presumably intended to work. That feels like a rather over commercial decision to make sure the user uses much more than is necessary. A very poor product.
